Our Journey with Movement

Kayla, originally from California, earned her Doctorate in Physiotherapy in Chicago before pursuing an orthopedic specialization residency. Upon completion, she traveled to Rishikesh, India, to deepen her practice with a 300-hour yoga teacher training. Kayla’s journey with yoga began in 2018 when she spontaneously traveled solo to India for a month. She continued her studies in 2019/2020, completing a 200-hour teacher training in Goa. Throughout her journey, her goal has always been to integrate the wisdom of Eastern practices with the scientific approach of Western medicine to offer a truly holistic path to healing. Over time, her focus has shifted away from traditional yoga asana and into a broader philosophy of how movement can serve as a tool for profound healing.

Amit grew up in the mountains of Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, India, where he was an active child involved in Taekwondo, football, and later, weightlifting and calisthenics. His path to yoga began in 2019 with a 200-hour teacher training course. Since then, Amit has expanded his knowledge, earning a Master’s degree in Yoga Science, completing a one-year diploma, and obtaining various additional certifications. His journey has led him to explore yoga beyond physical asanas, delving into spirituality, connection, and the transformative power of movement.

“As humans, we’ve grown disconnected from our natural instinct to move, explore, and express freely. Reconnecting with our bodies through breath awakens prana, our vital life force, clearing stagnation and restoring flow. Movement invites curiosity, playfulness, and the profound ability to heal.”
